UNISOFT SYSTEMS specialise in providing complete applications development solutions using Visual Basic in a client-server environment with SQL Server, Oracle or DB2/400 databases. We also build Client Server applications as well as data driven web sites using SQL Server & MySQL. We offer state of the art scalable POS systems built on the Microsoft SQL Server platform.
Full responsibility is assumed for the entire systems development life cycle (SDLC) of the solution, from the initial JAD sessions to implementation and ongoing support.
UNISOFT SYSTEMS will not only deliver the application on request, but also make recommendations when a better solution exists. Our methods are based on formal information engineering and project management methodologies. Extensive usage of RAD productivity tools is made, as part of the methodology-driven approach.
Due to changing application and platform architectures, UNISOFT SYSTEMS continually invests heavily in Information Systems Research and Development. Currently UNISOFT SYSTEMS has the ability to create true multi-tier environments using Visual Basic components. This component based architecture allows for reuse of business objects as well as ease of maintenance and the ability to rapidly adapt to changing business needs.
Since 2004, we have seen a remarkable uptake on our off the shelf products catering for the retail and wholesale environments. After doing much research we found that there is no dominant player in the SME retail /wholesale software market in Australia. Our decision to establish ourselves in this market is already paying dividends with our first Australian sites going live within the month of October 2006.
Our focus for 2007 is to establish a reseller network throughout Australia, and to bring our POS/Inventory solutions to the market at reasonable prices, backed up by solid reliable support.
2008 will be a year of consolidation. We have now been active in the Australian market since late 2006. We have made a lot of progress in building relationships and business networks.
Our footprint in South Africa is set to grow in 2008, with renewed interest in our products from different sectors of the wholesale and retail markets. As always, we are focussed on the needs of our customers, and providing solid, stable software solutions, with affordable maintenance and support. We are still however looking for more resellers in Southern Africa.
2009 has been an excellent year for UNISOFT SYSTEMS. Our Australian office, has recently appointed our first National Reseller - BARCODE DYNAMICS Pty Ltd, who have offices in Sydney, Melbourne & Brisbane. This new appointment, ensures that we are set to increase our footprint in the Australian market. Added to this UNISOFT SYSTEMS are jointly developing a new mobility application with BARCODE DYNAMICS to cater for warehouses, and customers that require wireless barcoding capabilities.
We expect our client base to increase shaprly as we enter into these new exciting markets.
